Jim Merritt has extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer in various companies. Jim began their career as CFO at Copperfield in 2002, where they played a vital role in the company's growth from $35 million to over $519 million in revenue by 2006. After their tenure at Copperfield, they joined Premier Precision Group as CFO and later became President. Under their leadership, the company completed strategic acquisitions, and revenue increased from $15 million in 2006 to $83 million in 2010.

In 2011, Jim Merritt joined US Water Services, a regional commercial and industrial water treatment company. Jim was instrumental in driving the company's growth, boosting revenue from $36 million to $125 million through both organic growth and acquisitions. The company was eventually sold in 2015, providing shareholders with a return of more than 3x.

From 2016 to 2020, Jim Merritt served as CFO at Sierra Corporation. In April 2020, they transitioned to their current role as CFO at Winsted Control Room Consoles.

Jim Merritt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at Saint John's University from 1988 to 1992. Jim further pursued their education and earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between 1997 and 1998.
