Thomas Melsheimer

Tom Melsheimer is a distinguished attorney with extensive experience in litigation and leadership roles. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Litigation Department and Managing Partner in Dallas at Winston & Strawn LLP since March 2017, Tom previously held the position of Managing Principal at Fish & Richardson P.C. from 2000 to 2017. As a Co-Founder of Lynn Stodghill & Melsheimer from 1993 to 2000, Tom established a strong legal practice. Tom also served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office from 1990 to 1993 and started a career as an Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP beginning in 1987. Tom Melsheimer earned a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Notre Dame.
