Lauren King is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in support and care roles. Currently serving as a Bereavement Support Practitioner at Winston's Wish since March 2022, Lauren also holds the position of Housing Navigator at YMCA Derbyshire since June 2020. Previous roles include Educational Mental Health Practitioner at Action for Children from January 2021 to March 2022, and Team Leader and Residential Care Worker at The Cambian Group from April 2018 to June 2020. Early in the career, Lauren worked as a Customer Assistant at Tesco from November 2012 to April 2018. Education includes a PGDIP in Educational Mental Health Practice from the University of Derby and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Sheffield Hallam University.

Winston's Wish supports children, young people (up to 25) and their families after the death of someone close to them. This is the most devastating and traumatic situation a child can face, but with the right support at the right time children can lead full and flourishing lives.
