Nishant Prasad

Nishant Prasad has significant experience in the legal and compliance field. Nishant is currently serving as the Chief Compliance and Legal Officer at Wint Wealth, where they manage the compliance and legal affairs of the company and explores alternative investment products and strategies. Prior to this, they worked at Scripbox as Manager-Legal and General Legal Counsel, overseeing fund raises, regulatory compliance, and contract management. Nishant also had a brief secondment as Head (Legal) at India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF). Nishant began their career as an Associate at Khaitan & Co and gained internships at various law firms including Talwar Thakore & Associates, S&R Associates, Bharucha & Partners, and Trilegal. Nishant also served in various roles at the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad, including as an Executive Member in recruitment coordination and as a Teaching Assistant for Labour Law-I.

Nishant Prasad completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) LLB (Hons) degree in Law from the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad from 2010 to 2015. Before that, they attended St. Xavier's College for their High School education from 2008 to 2010. Nishant Prasad started their education journey at St. Mary's ICSE, Mumbai, where they completed their High School education from 1998 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the NISM Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributors Certification and the NISM Series-III-A: Securities Intermediaries Compliance (Non-Fund) Certification from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Nishant also completed a Financial Markets Course from Yale University in 2020 and became an Advocate registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in 2015.
