Gil Shafran

Gil brings over 25 years of experience in software development, R&D teams management, mathematical modeling, and optimization problem-solving. In his previous position, Gil was the CTO of HopOn, a public transportation optimization company. Prior to that Gil was a co-founder of Traffix Systems and served as its VP of R&D. Following Traffix’s acquisition by F5 networks, Gil served as F5’s VP of product development. Before that Gil managed the development of the GSM and UMTS network optimization products at Schema.

Gil holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Math and Physics from the Hebrew University.
