Michael J. Zenner

Michael Zenner is a partner in the firm. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and in the representation of all types of community associations, including high and mid-rise condominium associations, master and sub-associations in both residential and mixed-use developments, townhome associations and property and homeowners associations. Michael has a depth of knowledge that comes from many years of experience coupled with the personal ability to bring people together to find win-win solutions.

Recently, Michael successfully negotiated the sale of several parcels on the west-side of Atlanta for development into a mixed-use project. He also provided all legal work necessary to complete a major exterior renovation project for a high-rise in midtown Atlanta, which included implementing a building-wide specific assessment, obtaining loan approval from the members, negotiating the construction contracts and resolving construction disputes.

Michael is a frequent speaker and writer on topics involving community associations and has given presentations on topics that include the structure and organization of community associations, conversion condominiums, turnover issues, covenant enforcement, and assessment collection. He has served on the Board of Directors of Community Associations Institute of Georgia (CAI) and is a past president of the organization.

For undergrad, Michael attended the University of Minnesota where he studied Economics and graduated cum laude. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1987.
