Richard Vernon is a versatile professional with experience as a book author, public speaker, and songwriter. Currently serving as a book author at From a Servants Heart since December 2019, Richard's first book was published in 2021, receiving a five-star rating on Amazon. Richard is also a public speaker and has engaged in various speaking events, including singing the national anthem at First Night Boston in 2019. In addition, Richard's background includes roles such as assistant manager at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program and community consultant for WHMB TV40. With a passion for Gospel Rock and Worship music, Richard continues to write songs and work on future publications under the author name Richard Ritchie Vernon. Richard holds a high school diploma from Tucson College of Business.

Winter Walk
The Winter Walk is an organization and event that believes that ending homelessness is within our reach. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds towards that goal, and to support organizations that are working on prevention, support, and care for our homeless community. Each of our walks feature a 2-mile walk where participants, housed and unhoused, will share a meal together, and hear real stories of homeless communities.
