Evgeny Gaevoy

Evgeny Gaevoy is an experienced professional in the financial industry. Evgeny began their career in 2004 as a Credit Representative for Renaissance Capital. In 2005, they moved to Gillette as a Finance Trainee. In 2006, they joined Optiver as an Index Derivatives Trader. Evgeny then became the Head of ETFs in 2009, and Head of ETF Business Expansion in 2014. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Wintermute, a leading proprietary trading crypto market maker. At Wintermute, they provide liquidity solutions across the digital asset ecosystem, including creating liquidity on crypto exchanges, offering competitive prices via OTC, and supporting listings and ongoing liquidity for crypto projects.

Evgeny Gaevoy obtained an Executive MBA from the London Business School between 2015 and 2016. In 2014, they were a Level II candidate at the CFA Institute. From 2005 to 2006, they earned a Master's degree in Finance from Maastricht University. From 2001 to 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Higher School of Economics.
