Brett Redden

Brett Redden has extensive experience in athletics communications, currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Winthrop Athletics since January 2005. Additionally, Brett has been involved with Winthrop University since September 1999 in various roles including Men's Basketball Contact, Men's Soccer Contact, Director of Communications, and Assistant Media Relations Director. Brett also served as the Media Relations Contact for the Winthrop Lady Eagles Basketball Team from 2000 until September 2012. Early in the career, Brett worked as the Sports Editor for Landmark Community Newspapers at the Galax Gazette from July 1999 to December 1999. Academically, Brett attended Winthrop University from 1994 to 1998 and previously studied at Colorado State University-Pueblo from 1992 to 1994.
