Paul Shearer

Paul Shearer has a diverse range of experience in project management and contracts management roles. Paul is currently working at Winthrop Technologies as a Project Director. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager and Senior MEP Lead at the same company. Before joining Winthrop, Paul worked at WMQ Building Services as a Senior Contracts Manager for six years. Paul also had a stint at Mears Group PLC, where they held the positions of Senior Contracts Manager and Senior Project Manager. Paul began their career at Laidlawscott Ltd as a Plumbing & Heating Manager before moving on to Cameronaire Environmental as a Site Project Manager.

Paul Shearer attended North Glasgow College from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician. In 2013, they pursued a Level 5 Construction Senior Management degree at JB Management, which they completed in 2014. Paul also obtained additional certifications, including Construction Senior Management Level 5 from The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in 2014, City & Guilds 604 Craft H&V Engineer from City & Guilds in 1990, and SMSTS from CITB in May 2018.
