Shana Chaplin serves as the Chief Program Officer at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute since January 2024. Prior to this role, Shana was a Civic Engagement Strategist on Sabbatical at Chaplin Consulting from September 2023 to January 2024. Shana's extensive experience also includes serving as the Deputy Chief of Community Engagement & Faith-Based Partnerships for the State of Arkansas and as the Director of EngageAR with the Arkansas Service Commission from August 2016 to September 2023. Additionally, Shana held the position of Volunteer/State President at the Arkansas Woman's Missionary Union from 2013 to August 2016, overseeing a statewide organization aimed at educating women in missions. In earlier roles, Shana led a professional organizing and speaking ministry, contributed to various nonprofit initiatives, and was the Director of Programs for March of Dimes. Shana holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Ouachita Baptist University.
