Briana Mathews is a dedicated educator and coach with extensive experience in teaching and youth sports. Currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Winton Woods City Schools since August 2021, Briana previously coached athletes aged 8 to 15 at Midwest Cheer Elite from August 2012 to August 2021, while also engaging with a broader age range from 3 to 18 years. In addition, Briana managed operations at Skatetown USA from June 2015 to March 2020, overseeing employees and coordinating events. Briana holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Miami University. Educational foundations were built at Lakota West High School, graduating in 2011.

We are an open enrollment district with a student body rich in cultural diversity and 25 languages spoken throughout the district. Winton Woods City Schools is located 15 miles north of metropolitan Cincinnati and serves approximately 3,500 students from the three neighboring communities of Forest Park, Greenhills and northern Springfield Township. The district's location in the north end of the I-275 loop provides easy access to the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area with its museums, theaters, colleges and universities, opera, ballet, symphony, Pops orchestra, professional sports teams, and the third largest zoo in the country. The rolling hills and forests of Winton Woods Park, one of Hamilton County's largest parks, provide the backdrop for the district. The park provides families with camping, hiking, picnic areas and playground facilities. Boating and fishing are available on the lake, as well as two public golf courses.
