Paul Cantieri

Paul Cantieri is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in providing financial products and relationship management for the restaurant industry. Currently serving as Managing Director at Wintrust Financial Corporation since April 2016, Paul focuses on franchised, chain, and sponsor-owned restaurant companies. Prior to this role, Paul held multiple positions at GE Capital, Franchise Finance from April 2005 to April 2016, including Managing Director and Senior Vice President, where responsibilities included loan originations and relationship management for franchised restaurant companies. Earlier experience includes a Vice President role at Wells Fargo Bank from March 2002 to April 2005, managing loan origination and relationships for franchise and independent chain restaurant companies. Paul earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1980 to 1984.
