Usman Khawaja

Usman Khawaja is an experienced banking professional with a robust career focusing on digital acquisition and business development, particularly for SMEs in the UAE. Currently serving as the Head of Acquisitions at Wio Bank since June 2021, Usman is responsible for building a digital business banking platform. Prior roles include AVP positions at Mashreq Bank, where Usman played a key role in launching the NEOBiz digital banking platform and managed various sales teams to drive revenue in SME banking. Usman’s extensive background includes leadership positions at Silkbank Limited and Standard Chartered Bank, specializing in retail banking and SME financial products. Usman holds a B.Sc. Hons in Computer Sciences & Mathematics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
