Dr. Saurabh Shekhar

Dr. Saurabh Shekhar is a seasoned professional in the animal nutrition and pet care industry, currently serving as the Managing Partner for Petcare at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting since August 2025. Prior experience includes a role as General Manager at Nutreco, overseeing animal nutrition and aquaculture businesses in South Asia from January 2021 to August 2025, and as General Manager at Trouw Nutrition from July 2017 to December 2020. Dr. Shekhar's tenure at Mars spanned from September 2003 to June 2017, where responsibilities included Country Managing Director for Indonesia and various leadership roles in R&D, sales, and regional management in India. Previous experience also includes a position as Sr. Poultry Account Executive at Pfizer from June 1999 to September 2003. Dr. Shekhar holds a Master's in Veterinary Science and a Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from CCSHAU, along with executive education in strategic leadership and general management from notable institutions.
