Zach Schamaun

Zach Schamaun has a broad range of work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Zach began their career as a Warehouse Specialist at Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. in 2001 and later worked as an Audit Associate and Audit Senior at KPMG from 2006 to 2009.

After that, Schamaun joined WireCo WorldGroup in 2009, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Financial Analyst and Global Inventory Manager. Zach was responsible for managing inventories across multiple facilities, implementing manufacturing accounting standards, and improving delivery processes. Schamaun also served as an Operations Project Manager, overseeing the opening inventory balances following an acquisition, and as Director of Administration and Logistics in Mexico, where they successfully turned around operations and improved on-time delivery.

In 2013, they were promoted to Managing Director of Mexico Operations, where they directed two production facilities and served as the legal representative for the company. Schamaun then became the Plant Manager of WireCo WorldGroup's largest US production facility, where they led a 160-member team and achieved significant improvements in safety and operational efficiency.

Zach later joined The Roasterie, Inc. as General Manager in 2016, before returning to WireCo WorldGroup as the Director of Business Process Improvement in 2018. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President of US Operations, where they oversaw the company's operations in the United States. Schamaun's most recent role has been as the Vice President of the Global Steel Supply Chain at WireCo WorldGroup, starting in January 2022, where they are responsible for managing the global steel supply chain.

Zach Schamaun completed their education history as follows:

- From 2005 to 2006, they attended the University of Kansas - Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Accounting and Information Systems degree.

- Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, they attended The University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting.

In addition to their academic degrees, Zach Schamaun also holds the following certifications:

- Zach obtained a Lean Manufacturing Certificate from the University of Michigan in April 2016.

- In 2008, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the Missouri Board of Accountancy.
