Associate Manager, Audience Development at Wired

Laura Fillbach is the current Associate Manager of Audience Development at Wired. Laura has also served as the Manager of Audience Engagement at Ideastream Public Media and as a certified Scrum Master for an interdisciplinary Sandbox Team at Champlain College. Laura has also been Nutrition Education Manager at Hunger Free Vermont where they were responsible for recruiting and training instructors, designing evaluation tools, analyzing data, and adapting the program model in response to feedback. Laura also led the Nutrition Education Team, built and expanded program capacity through supervision of nutrition education staff and dietetic student interns, and participated in a partnership among state agencies to collaborate on nutrition education initiatives.

Laura Fillbach has a Master of Fine Arts from Champlain College in Emergent Media. Laura also has a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in Anthropology. Additionally, Laura Fillbach has an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Eastside High School in Gainesville, FL. Laura also has certification from the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas in Newsletter Strategies for Journalists, Coursera in Understanding User Needs, Coursera in Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes, and Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas in Product Management for Newsroom Leaders.
