Andy Henderson has extensive work experience in various roles related to change and configuration management, network operations, and incident management. Andy is currently working as a Network Operations Manager at Wireless Infrastructure Group since November 2021. Prior to this, Andy worked as a Change and Configuration Manager at Forestry and Land Scotland from April 2019 to October 2021, where they established and maintained key ITIL practices and ensured ISO27000 compliance. Before that, they held a similar role at Forestry Commission from June 2018 to March 2019, where they provided subject matter expertise and managed IT change processes. Andy also worked at Capita IT and Networks as a Change and Configuration Manager from November 2015 to June 2018, supporting SWAN operations and participating in day-to-day operations. Andy worked as a Major Incident Senior Analyst at EY from December 2014 to November 2015, responsible for the restoration of major incidents within the IT infrastructure. Prior to that, Andy worked as a Network Engineer at Vodafone from March 2013 to November 2014. Andy started their career at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, where they held multiple roles including MSC Shift Technician from October 2011 to March 2013 and Service Incident Manager from September 2009 to October 2011. Andy also worked as a Fault Controller at Thus from May 2007 to September 2009 and as a GCM Agent at NCR Corporation from 2004 to 2007.
Andy Henderson attended Dundee and Angus College from 1997 to 2008. Andy obtained an NC degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician during their time at the college. In terms of additional certifications, they received the ITIL V4 Foundation certification from PeopleCert in January 2021. Prior to that, in November 2018, they obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from the same institution. In August 2018, they also earned the assyst Administration certification from Axios Systems.
