Tormod Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tormod is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Wireless Infrastructure Group since November 2021. Prior to this, Tormod Larsen co-founded and served as the President of The Kristoffer Larsen BIG HEART Memorial Foundation, a charitable organization founded in 2017. From 2004 to 2021, they worked as the Vice President and CTO of ExteNet Systems, where they were responsible for technology and market assessments, strategic partnerships, and product development. Before that, Tormod Larsen held the position of Vice President of Sales and Engineering at Allgon, a global provider of radio frequency equipment and services. Tormod started their career at Siemens AG as a Product Manager, playing a role in the early stage GSM build-out in Norway.
Tormod Larsen holds an MSc degree in Electronics/Radio Systems, which they obtained from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Additionally, they have also earned an M.Sc. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same institution.
