Joya is the Founder of Wireside, an award-winning, international, independent PR firm that provides strategic communications for corporations, NGOs, non-profit organizations and educational institutions in the high-tech industry. She founded Wireside in 2004 and has 22 years of public relations and events experience in the high-tech sector.

Joya is responsible for leading public relations initiatives for Wireside’s clients and she excels at developing and fulfilling public relations strategies designed to significantly increase market awareness and drive value for clients. Wireside’s long-term partnership with clients speaks to the agency’s unyielding commitment to quality and client service, which have always been cornerstones of the firm. Long term clients include NTT (13 yr.), UNH InterOperability Lab (10 yr.), and the Internet Society (7 yr).

Prior to founding Wireside, Joya held marketing communications positions at the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI)/ Foretec Seminars (now Neustar) and Miller Consulting Group. Joya graduated from Saint Gertrude High School, an independent Catholic college preparatory day school for young women in Richmond, VA. She then studied International Relations at Boston University, and later resided in Europe for 5 years, including 4 years in Germany. She is currently based in Virginia.
