Georgy Sokolov

Georgy Sokolov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, project management, and entrepreneurship. As the co-founder of Wirex since September 2014, Georgy has been instrumental in establishing a leading digital payment platform known for creating the world's first crypto-enabled payment card. Prior to Wirex, Georgy held key sales roles at Volga-Dnepr UK and Volga-Dnepr Airlines, focused on cargo charter aviation. Earlier career experiences include positions at ZAO "Parus" in purchasing, Metallotorg in industrial metals sales, and co-founding a business specializing in accounting software. Georgy holds an Executive MBA from Cass Business School and a degree in Information Systems in Economics from Ulyanovsk State Technical University.
