Max Biederbeck

Max Biederbeck currently serves as a Correspondent at WirtschaftsWoche in the capital office since February 2022. Prior to this role, Biederbeck was the Head of Fact-Check at Agence France-Presse from September 2020 to February 2022, and worked as a Research Editor/Political Reporter at watson News from March 2018 to February 2020. Biederbeck has also held the position of Feature Editor at WIRED Germany from April 2014 to February 2018. Earlier freelance journalism contributions were made to publications such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Spiegel Online, Zeit Online, and others. Biederbeck's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Journalism from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Law from Universität Mannheim. Additionally, a six-month scholarship at Herbert-Quandt-Stiftung facilitated a journalistic residency in Israel.
