Adina Edwards

Adina Edwards has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2008, they worked as a Specialist at Apple, and from 2007 to 2009, they were a Plano at Target, where they focused on visual merchandising and assisting customers in the electronics department.

During their time at Intel Corporation in 2011, Adina served as an Undergraduate Intern Technical where they were involved in writing and designing an Autonegotiation and KR Training decoder using C++. Adina also worked as an Electronics Student Worker at OSU Beavers Store from 2010 to 2012.

Adina has experience in curriculum development and teaching assistance, as well as IT support, from their roles as a Curriculum Development/Teaching Assistant and COSINe IT Student Worker at Oregon State University from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, they had a six-month internship as a Firmware Engineer Intern at Biamp Systems, where they developed a program for creating virtual Tesira servers. Adina also worked on a project for updating firmware and software on Tesira servers.

At Biamp Systems from 2014 to 2020, Adina held multiple roles. Adina started as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, ensuring the quality of networked audio video servers. Later, they transitioned to become an Embedded Software Engineer, using C++ to add new features to networked audio video servers running Linux.

Within their career timeline, Adina had a brief period as a Freelance professional in 2014, taking up computer-related projects to enhance their skills and knowledge in hardware, software, networking, and programming languages.

Adina'smost recent role is as an Embedded Software Engineer at WiSA Technologies, Inc., which they started in November 2020.

Adina Edwards has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Adina obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University, where they studied from 2022 to 2026. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University from 2016 to 2018. Adina also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Oregon State University, which they earned from 2010 to 2013. Before pursuing higher education, Adina attended Half Moon Bay High School.

In addition to their formal education, Adina has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Adina completed the Dante Level 1 certification from Audinate in March 2017. In January 2016, they obtained the VoIP Level 1 certification from Biamp Systems. Adina also acquired certifications from SynAudCon, including "Principles of Audio (Course 100)" in June 2014 and "How Sound Systems Work (Course 50)" in June 2013. Furthermore, they received certifications in Audia and Tesira from Biamp Systems in August 2013. These additional certifications demonstrate Adina's commitment to continuously improving their expertise in audio and engineering systems.
