Wisconsin Conservatory of Music
Christopher Misch-Bloxdorf is a seasoned music educator and teaching artist with extensive experience in music production and songwriting. Currently serving as a Music Production and Songwriting Teaching Artist at Changing Worlds since September 2021, Christopher has developed a curriculum based on Dr. Shawn Ginwright's Principles of Healing Centered Engagement. Concurrently, as a faculty member at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music since January 2017, Christopher contributes to the education of over 15,000 students through the connections program and co-created the Music Creation Station, a mobile recording studio. Previous roles include customer service positions at Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Carnegie Hall, and an adjunct instructor at New York University where Christopher taught trombone to non-performing arts students. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Lawrence University.

The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is the largest non-profit community music school in the state. Founded in 1899, the Conservatory provides musical experiences to students from age four months to adults, to all levels of abilities, working to develop creative, artistic, and whole individuals.
