Amanda Okech, MHA, currently serves as the Program and Policy Chief for the Division of Community Corrections at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections since May 2023 and has been working as an Advanced Contract Specialist for the State of Wisconsin since March 2021. With a strong background in leadership and strategic planning, Amanda previously held the position of Executive Director at Focus Counseling, Inc., where oversight of a 35-member team was essential. Experience also includes roles at Journey Mental Health Center, managing special projects, and at Northland Counseling Center Inc., where Amanda directed the Kiesler Wellness Center and led the Certified Peer Support Specialist Program, noted for its success in Minnesota. Amanda holds an Executive Master's of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Human Services from the University of Minnesota Morris.
