Jennifer Garrett

Jennifer Garrett is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as Assistant Deputy Secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services since August 2022. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Director of Public Affairs at the same department, where strategic communications and partnership development were key focuses. With extensive experience in marketing and communications, including roles as Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager at UW–Madison School of Nursing and Copywriter at Johnson Health Tech NA, Jennifer has also provided freelance writing and editorial services since 1995. Educational achievements include a J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in English and Communication from Purdue University.
