James Parker

James Parker has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. James started their career in 1986 as an Operations Manager and part of a New Facilities Development Team at Phillip Morris/Oscar Mayer/Louis Rich. James received specialized management training and supervised special projects. In 1990, they became a Franchise Owner and Developer at Gold's Gym, where they created business plans and implemented strategic goals for the construction and operations phases. In 1995, they joined the State of Wisconsin and held multiple titles, including Administrator, Finance Director, and Budget Director, across various departments. During this time, they also worked as a Budget and Policy Analyst. Since 2011, they have been working at the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, serving as the Chief Financial Officer - Division Administrator. In this role, they manage a large budget and multiple departments, engaging with various governmental bodies and overseeing numerous employees and facilities.

James Parker attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
