Erin Karsten

Erin Karsten is a seasoned professional in the labor and nonprofit sectors, currently serving as the Regional Director at the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) since May 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Union Organizer for SEIU from January 2019 to May 2020, an Operations Intern at Great Minds, and a Trade and Labor Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, Erin held a Union Research Intern position with UNITE HERE in the summer of 2017. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from American University, and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Harvard University, with a brief study at Trinity College Dublin in 2018.
