Peggy Wirtz-Olsen

Peggy Wirtz-Olsen has a variety of work experience in the education sector. Peggy started their career as an English and Photography Teacher for the Port Washington-Saukville School District in 1998 and held this role until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Middle and High School Art Teacher for the Iola Scandinavia School District. In 2015, they joined the School District Of Marshfield as a High School English Teacher. Most recently, they have been working at the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) as the Vice President since 2016.

Peggy Wirtz-Olsen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education and Art Teacher from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where they attended from 1992 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Education from Concordia University-Wisconsin, which they completed between 1999 and 2002.
