Wisconsin All Hazard Incident Management Team at Wisconsin Emergency Management

Robert Kunze currently serves as the Interim Emergency Management Director for the City of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, a position held since February 2024. Holding multiple roles within emergency management, Robert has been the Plans Manager for Wisconsin Task Force 1 since June 2022 and is affiliated with Wisconsin Emergency Management since July 2016 as part of the Wisconsin All Hazard Incident Management Team and an Adjunct Instructor. Additionally, Robert has been with the City of Fitchburg Fire Department since January 2002, progressing from Lieutenant to Deputy Chief. Robert also has a long-standing role as a Fire/EMS Instructor at Madison College since January 1999 and previously served as Interim Fire Chief and Assistant Chief at McFarland Fire Department from May 2001 to December 2013. Robert obtained an Associate Degree in Fire Science from Madison Area Technical College between 1998 and 2000.
