Paul Porter is a seasoned professional in historic preservation and conservation, currently serving as the Tax Credit Reviewer for the Eastern District at the Wisconsin Historical Society since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Services Coordinator and Conservation Easement Coordinator at the Department of Arkansas Heritage from December 2013 to July 2020, where management of the Courthouse Restoration program took place with an annual budget of $1-$1.5 million. Additionally, Paul served as a Restoration Specialist for the State of South Dakota from March 2010 to December 2013, overseeing federal and state tax incentive programs and conducting site evaluations. Paul holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation and Conservation from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Southeast Missouri State University.
