Barbara Hummel

Barbara Hummel has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Barbara started their career as a Private Practice Physician under their own practice, Barbara A. Hummel, MD, SC in 1997, which they continue to own. Barbara has also served various leadership roles in different organizations such as the Wisconsin Medical Society, where they held the position of President Elect in 2015. Barbara has also been involved in the AMA Senior Physician Governing Council, serving as Chair-elect from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they were the Vice-chair of the Board of Directors for the State Medical Society of Wisconsin from 2012 to 2015. Barbara has also been active in the Private Practice Physician Congress, holding the position of Secretary from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, Barbara served as Barbara A. Hummel, MD for the Medical Society of Wisconsin -- Proassurance from 1997 to 2010.

Barbara Hummel pursued their education from 1983 to 1988 at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine.
