Jake Oelke has worked as the Vice President of Energy Services at WPPI Energy since 1998 and as a Planning Engineer at Power System Engineering from 1995 to 1998.

Jake Oelke completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, graduating in 1994. In 2005, they obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Wisconsin. In 2003, Jake earned the Certified Demand-Side Manager and Certified Energy Manager certifications from the Association of Energy Engineers. Jake also obtained the Key Public Power Account Executive (KPPAE) Certification from the American Public Power Association in 2006. In 2014, they received the Certified Adult Distance Running Coach certification from the Road Runners Club of America. Additionally, they pursued further education throughout their career. In 2013, Jake completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Certificate program at the Wisconsin School of Business. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, they obtained the Executive Leadership Certificate from the same institution. Currently, they are working towards their Professional Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which is expected to be completed in 2024 at the Wisconsin School of Business.
