Maureen McCollum

Maureen McCollum is an experienced media professional with a career spanning over 15 years in public radio and broadcasting. Currently serving as the Wisconsin Life Host and Producer at Wisconsin Public Radio since December 2010, Maureen also hosts Morning Edition and covers news in the La Crosse area and statewide issues. Prior to this, Maureen was a Staff News Producer at KBIA Public Radio where responsibilities included anchoring daily news, hosting an arts show, and mentoring journalism students. Maureen's early career includes reporting and anchoring roles at Wisconsin Public Radio and WMCM TV, where leadership and technical skills were developed. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Telecommunications and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
