Chris Plansky, CEM has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Currently, they are working at Wisconsin Public Service as a Principal Account Manager since October 2020, after serving as a Senior Account Manager from February 2018 to October 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Siemens, including E&I Engineering Manager from April 2015 to October 2017 and Principal Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer from August 2005 to April 2015. Chris also worked as a Maintenance Manager at Federal-Mogul Powertrain from January 2005 to August 2005, an Electrical Engineer at Seagrave Fire Apparatus, LLC from September 2001 to December 2004, and a Controls Engineer at A&B Process Systems, a business unit of JBT Corporation from January 2001 to September 2001. Chris served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical NCO from September 1996 to September 2001 and previously worked as a Controls Engineer at Sani-Matic, Inc. from July 1998 to January 2001. Chris'searly work experience includes serving as a Chemical Operations Specialist in the US Army from July 1993 to July 1996.
Chris Plansky, CEM has a diverse education history. In 1996, they attended Herzing University and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electronics and Electrical/Mechanical CAD. Chris then pursued further education at Herzing University from 1998 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Systems Networking.
In 2015, Chris enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where they are currently pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Control Systems & Engineering Management.
Additionally, Chris has obtained two certifications: a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers in August 2019, and a Master Electrician License from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services in June 2018.
