Wisconsin Racing spends each fall semester designing new vehicles, constantly searching for ways to improve performance and increase reliability. During the winter months, the team develops the vehicle with comprehensive manufacturing processes. In this phase, the team works tirelessly to build and test the vehicles, continuously resolving any issues that arise. Everything comes together for the first competition of the year, FSAE Michigan, in early May, and the electric competition, FSAE Lincoln, in June.

The Engineering Team at Wisconsin Racing is responsible for the complete lifecycle of vehicle development, from initial design through to testing and competition. Each member specializes in key areas such as electric drivetrains, aerodynamics, battery systems, firmware, electronics, and structural integrity. Together, they collaborate to innovate and optimize the performance and reliability of their race vehicles, ensuring they are competition-ready by refining designs, resolving issues, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes.
