Alex Hahn

Alex Hahn is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant State Public Defender at the Wisconsin State Public Defender since January 2022. Previously, Alex held various legal internships, including positions at New York County Defender Services and the Federal Defender Program in Northern District of Georgia. Alex also contributed to the legal field through a clinic student role with Legal Assistance to Incarcerated People and participated in the Public Defender Project at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Before transitioning into law, Alex spent several years in education, including roles as a History Teacher and Director of Student Information at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools and Atlanta Public Schools. Alex holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
