Anna Hartz is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant State Public Defender at the Wisconsin State Public Defender's office since June 2022. Anna began their career in the legal field with a summer internship in the Appellate Division of the same office in 2021. Prior to this, Anna gained valuable experience as a legal intern for Justice Ann Walsh Bradley at the Wisconsin Supreme Court and as a summer legal intern with the Federal Public Defender. Anna's background also includes roles such as Housing Specialist for the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership and Advocacy Counselor for Project PLASE, Inc. Anna holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies and Classical Civilization from Beloit College, and has educational credentials from Occidental College and Hononegah Community High School.
