Wisconsin Youth Company is a 501c3 non-profit organization operating since 1974. Wisconsin Youth Company provides high-quality out-of-school time programming throughout Dane and Waukesha Counties. Programs include before and after school, 4K wrap, summer camps, Middle School U, Wander Wisconsin, and non-school days and break programs.

Wisconsin Youth Company operates Elver Park and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Centers offering residents equitable access to resources.

The Risk Management Team at Wisconsin Youth Company, led by Risk Management Director Kathy Smith, is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the organization's programs and operations. This includes ensuring the safety and well-being of youth participants, staff, and volunteers by implementing and monitoring safety protocols, compliance with regulations, and effective emergency response strategies. The team works to create a secure environment where kids can thrive outside of school hours.
