Esther Yang

Esther Yang is a founding software engineer at Jungle since May 2024, following a brief tenure as a founding AI engineer at Learn xyz from August to October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a CS Research Program Fellow at Google, where mentorship from Chris Welty guided research on English fluency's impact on grading for a graduation thesis. Esther interned as a data scientist at Meta, enhancing data processing efficiency through the development of a deduplication pipeline and advising migration strategies. Additionally, Esther contributed to Minerva Schools at KGI as a teaching assistant, creating course materials for data structures and algorithms. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Minerva University and prior study at Utrecht University in economics.
