Peer Counselor at WISE & Healthy Aging

Midge Sanford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in counseling, production, and facilitation. Currently serving as a Peer Counselor at WISE & Healthy Aging since 2020, Midge also co-founded Sanford/Pillsbury Productions in 1982, holding the role of Producer/Partner. Previous roles include Women's Group Facilitator at Chrysalis from 2013 to 2017, where efforts focused on aiding homeless and low-income individuals in achieving self-sufficiency, and Facilitator at Step Up on Second from 1989 to 2013, providing support to mentally ill individuals. Midge's involvement extends to advisory positions with Project Involve and IFP/West, as well as a tenure as Development Executive at New American Cinema. Midge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College and graduated from Mamaroneck High School.
