Iosu Santurtun

Iosu Santurtun has worked in the IT industry since 1994. Iosu began their career as a Systems Administrator/Developer at Dato Internet. In 1998, they became a Consultant for ISI, where they learned to communicate, report and be part of a team. Iosu then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Consultant/Development Chief in 2000, developing a web-based corporate intranet and helpdesk subsystem for Xfera (now Yoigo). In 2002, they moved to PwC Consulting as a Senior Consultant/Systems Architect, and in 2003 they joined IBM BCS as a Senior Consultant/Solutions Architect. In 2004, they became the CTO of mmchannel, a mobility startup. In 2006, they began freelancing for Telefonica/Movistar, ONCE, and Locomotive Records as an Internet Applications Platform/IT Consultant, where they were the technical leader for enterprise grade web portal platform and architecture. Iosu also worked as an ITConsultant/Project Leader and Production Enhancement and Development - Web Portals. In 2008, they joined Telefonica/Movistar as a Freelancer and in 2013 they became the CTO/Co-Founder of wiseathena.com.

Iosu Santurtun has a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto, which they obtained between 1993 and 1999. Iosu also obtained a MA in Intranet/Internet solutions from the University of Deusto between 1997 and 1998. Additionally, Iosu Santurtun has obtained various certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, Atlassian, DeepLearning.AI, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include Blockchain Business Models, Agile with Atlassian JIRA, Introduction to Data Science in Python, Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps), Machine Learning Modeling Pipelines in Production, Introduction to Machine Learning in Production, Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in Production, Version Control with GIT, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
