Amanda Roberts

Amanda Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Amanda started their career at Starr Electric Company, Inc. in 1999 as a Human Resources/Benefits Specialist. In 2001, they joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services as an Account Manager and Client Services Specialist, specializing in Employee Benefits. Amanda then moved on to Brown and Brown Insurance in 2012, where they worked as a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, handling payroll records for multiple office locations and managing the benefits program for a significant number of employees. In 2014, Amanda transitioned to Dollar Express Stores LLC, taking on the role of Director of Benefits & Risk Management. Amanda was responsible for designing and administering employee benefit programs, workers compensation, and leave of absence programs. Additionally, they played a key role in implementing a new HRIS system at the company. Amanda's most recent position is at Wise Consulting Associates, where they started in 2017 as a Consultant, later being promoted to Consulting Manager in June 2022.

Amanda Roberts obtained their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1994 to 1998. In addition, they have earned certifications such as Dayforce WFM, Benefits, Payroll Certified from Ceridian in 2018 and GBA (Group Benefits Associate) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).
