Matt Lewis OAM has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Office Manager for Chad Lewis Solutions P/L, where they managed administrative and financial operations. In 2018, they joined Memética as a Puppeteer, operating a life-size puppet and performing at multiple events and festivals. Matt also worked as a Disability Consultant for Memética during this time. In 2019, they took on the role of Facilitator for Rawcus Theatre, assisting with rehearsals and performing in a production. Matt also briefly worked as a Promotional Model for both Gecko Traxx and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Matt's involvement with the arts continued in 2019 when they became a Guest Speaker at the University of Melbourne. Additionally, they served as an AIS Community Custodian for the Australian Institute Of Sport, raising awareness of mental illness. In 2021, Matt held the position of Support Worker at both WISE Employment and their own company, Matt Lewis.
Matt Lewis OAM has an extensive education history in various fields. Starting in 2004, they attended Chairo Christian School, where they obtained a basic education. In 2006, they completed a Diploma of Business Management at Chisholm Institute.
From 2011 to 2013, Matt studied at Chisholm Institute, where they received a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, focusing on becoming an electrician. In 2013, they furthered their education by completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Narre Community Learning Centre.
Matt continued their educational journey in 2015 at ALTEC College, where they obtained a Certificate III in Information Technology, Digital Media, and Technology. In 2016, they attended Holmesglen, where they completed a Certificate IV in Accounting.
In 2018, Matt enrolled at Swinburne University of Technology and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science. Matt then transferred to the Australian College of Applied Professions in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science and Counselling, with an expected graduation in 2023.
Besides their formal education, Matt also holds additional certifications. In 2018, they completed the VIS Leadership Development Program at the Victorian Institute of Sport. In 2019, they obtained certifications in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid from First Aid Training CBD and Mental Health First Aid Australia, respectively.
