Rakesh Iyer

Rakesh Iyer has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Rakesh is currently employed as a Full Stack Engineer at WISE Employment since May 2023. Before that, they worked as a Director & Founder at Iyerrtronics Pty. Ltd. from December 2019 onwards. At Iyerrtronics, they also served as an IT Contractor, undertaking the role of Project Manager / Tech Lead at Mystic Software Solutions in Atlanta, USA from January 2020 to April 2023. During this time, they were involved in designing, developing, and maintaining the SMRTennis Portal, implementing SSO, and upgrading to the latest Laravel version using Agile methodologies. Rakesh managed a team of remote developers and handled server maintenance. Additionally, Rakesh has experience as an Online Course Creator / Technical Trainer in Robotics & Programming at Edyusaurus since January 2020. Rakesh was responsible for creating instructional materials, developing lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and curriculum, and evaluating course implementation effectiveness. Rakesh also founded the company and served as a Robotics Trainer at an undisclosed company from December 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Mobile Application Developer at Lawrence & Hanson from September 2019 to January 2020, where they developed modules of an RF Scanner app using React Native and collaborated with various teams. Rakesh also gained experience as a Web Developer at Xceed Web Development from March 2018 to August 2019, where they designed and developed web-based applications, handled client interaction, cross-team collaboration, and provided support. Before that, Rakesh worked as a Full Stack Developer at AssistedIN as an IT Contractor, designing and developing web-based 3D visualization software for mine design using PHP, JAVA, plotyly.js, and Google Cloud Platform. Rakesh also served as a Lead Consultant at Cygnus IT Solutions Pvt Ltd from May 2011 to September 2016, where they were involved in web application design, development, and maintenance, project and team management, cross-team collaboration, and client engagement using Agile methodologies. Finally, they founded StillFrill Pvt. Ltd., an entertainment venture focused on documentary filmmaking, from April 2015 to July 2016, where they created an online talent portal for entertainment professionals to find work opportunities and for brands to promote their work.

Rakesh Iyer obtained their Secondary School Certificate in Schooling at Vivek Vidyalaya, where they studied from 1991 to 2001. Rakesh then attended Vivek Junior College from 2001 to 2003 and obtained a High Secondary Certificate in Science. Rakesh Iyer pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Telecommunication from the University of Mumbai, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2009 to 2010. In addition to these academic qualifications, Rakesh Iyer also obtained a Marketing certification from the Swiss e-learning institute in February 2013.
