Carlos S. Gonzalez has over 30 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Carlos. S started their career at Valley Baptist Health System in 1984 as a Department Supervisor. Carlos. S then moved on to South Texas Health System in 1995, where they served as an Assistant Director. In 2005, Carlos joined Mission Regional Medical Center as an Administrative Director before transitioning to Knapp Medical Center in 2014 as the Administrative Laboratory Director. Most recently, they have been working at Wise Health System since April 2018 as the Director of Laboratory Services.

Carlos S. Gonzalez attended The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from 1979 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their field of study was Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. Additionally, in December 1984, they obtained a certification from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) in America Society Clinical Patholog.
