Wences Basterra

Wences Basterra has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Wences started their career in 1986 as an Analyst/Programmer at ITG. After that, they worked at CONINPE as a Consulting Manager for eight years. Wences then joined ASI as a Consulting Manager and continued in that role for five years. In 2005, they became the Business Director at Wisekey ELA until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at IN2 and Alliaria/Grupo IN2 as the Responsible for the North Zone. Afterward, they served as the Director Gerente at DataCloud Norte S.L. from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are working at Wise Security Global as a Business Development professional.

Wences Basterra attended the University of Deusto from 1982 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Informatics Engineering. During their time at university, they obtained additional certifications including an ITIL Certificate from Exin in March 2008, and two OPN Specialist Certificates from ORACLE in May 2011.
