Andras Forgacs

Andras Forgacs is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in leading engineering teams and developing complex systems. Currently serving as Engineer Lead at TransferWise since January 2018, Andras previously founded eXabison and held positions at UBS as a Senior Java Consultant, where involvement in a client-facing investment platform project included leadership responsibilities and deep technical expertise. Additional experience encompasses roles at J.P. Morgan focusing on Cash Management projects, and notable contributions at UBS Investment Bank in Market Risk engine development and test automation. Andras also played significant roles at EPAM Systems and 4D Soft, developing innovative software solutions and automated testing tools. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Szeged and further studies at City, University of London.
