Julie Steurbaut

Julie Steurbaut is an experienced professional in product compliance and legal regulation within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Group Product Compliance Lead for the APAC region at Wise since May 2021, Julie has also held the roles of Senior Product Compliance Manager for the EU and interim EU Country Manager. Prior to joining Wise, Julie worked at EY from June 2018 to May 2021, progressing from Consultant to Manager in the Legal & Regulatory sector of the Financial Services Organization. Julie's earlier experience includes a position as a Financial Risk and Regulation Consultant at Deloitte Belgium. Julie holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Ghent University, along with a Foundation and Practitioner degree in GDPR from The Knowledge Academy.
