Ser-Jin L.

Ser-Jin L. currently serves as the APAC Compliance Director at Wise since January 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Compliance Governance at Nium from September 2023 to January 2024, and Head of Group Compliance at Grab from July 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing regulatory compliance across various business verticals. Additional roles at Grab involved managing compliance for non-bank financial services and government relations. Prior to these positions, Ser-Jin L. worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) from 2005 to 2018, holding various leadership roles, including Head of the Regional Development Division and Head of the New York Office. Academically, Ser-Jin L. holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MSc in Management and Regulation of Risk from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
